No More Porn Reports …

It's Personal, On Writing (and/or Media) Comments (0)

Well, there’ll be no more hard-hitting journalistic reports on porno sites like RedTube.com for this blog, Nosiree. Enough pandering to prurient interests. At least until the next time I feel like getting 10,000 page views in 36 hours.

Let’s move along to a fascinating web search factoid I just gleaned, which is that, amazingly, if you Google ™ the phrase, “prurient interests,” or even just the word “prurient,” you do NOT get a kajillion porn and sex site links, or even any porn or sex site advertising.

And there is not even a site at prurient.com, though someone owns it.

Prurient” is apparently out of linguistic fashion, or too highbrow, or something. It’s a word that drips lust and sex, but not on the Internet, at least not now, or yet. Why, do you s’ppose?

(That’s the kind of thing I write about over at www.intotemptation.net …)
