Medical travel continues to garner considerable media coverage. News 14 Carolina did this story yesterday; I post it in part because I’m included in the interview. They’ve got the before-and-after shots of my teeth in there as well, from 2004.

News 14 continues to get mileage out of some syndicated material put out by Ivanhoe Newswire. They did a nice job of putting together what amounted to practically a documentary on medical travel, and TV stations use the video to help build their own stories. There are a lot of angles to take on this, clearly — patients and consumer health, insurance, public policy, globalization, etc.
